Comments about Tolomeo Classic Lamp without Base
I had one of these lamps ( with a base) many years past. It did not survive one of my many moves since. I loved it then and am in once again in love with the new ( clap style) one. It is classic, will always be 'in style' , lights with an intimate glow I have missed. Very, very happy to have it lighting my life once more.

You cannot buy a more iconic, gorgeously fabricated, beautiful looking, functional lamp than a Tolomeo. They're also an amazing gift for big life occasions.

Comments about Tolomeo Classic Lamp without Base
As this is my second Tolomeo desk lamp, I am happy to say that I love these lamps. The first was from an architect friend, and has worked well for many years. Recently the on/off switch lost its punch so I ordered a new lamp. Happy to have it!
This lamp does it all.

This is the best reading lamp ever, it covers every need light wise that you may need, it changes shades of light and brightness of light. It also can maneuver into any reading position that you need to adjust it too. It may seem a little high cost wise but it is well worth it and you will not mind spending the money after you finally receive your purchase. I absolutely would buy this lamp but the problem did arise when dealing with Lumens, there customer service was terrible, I sent them several emails and have never heard back from them. I had to take the initiative to call and fix the problems I had ordering off there web-site. Great Lamp-bad customer service. That is as honest as I can get without getting petty about the LACK of customer service these guys provide.
Artemide
Artemide takes its name from Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon—a reflection of the brand’s ethos in creating fixtures that deliver an elegant, ethereal glow. Founded in Milan in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has been a driving force in Italian modern design.
