I purchased the mini lamp in slate grey for my small desk (42" x 24") and it works so well in my space. I'm glad I went with the mini, I think the larger one would have overwhelmed my desktop. I love the color and classic design. It feels solid and like it will last me a long time, I'm glad I splurged on this lamp. It was also packed well.

Keep this design away from Pixar. Form and function in a "just right" size.
Fun, affordable task lamp
I bought two as bedside lamps. The esthetic is slightly industrial, with a quirky little pop of fun. The bulb is low wattage, but given this is a task lamp and its being used for night time reading it works fine.
Perfect for a small home office
It's a bit smaller than its larger cousin, but perfect for a small home office and doesn't overwhelm a 4' desk with its small footprint. The black finish is beautiful and the fixture itself was easy to assemble with a lot of options for adjustability.
Anglepoise
Anglepoise started in 1899 by Herbert Terry and sons. They originally sold products that used their springs, like toasters, bike seats and spring clips. It wasn't until 1931 when George Carwardine established a theory for using balanced weights with these springs that Anglepoise introduced lighting to the company.
