Comments about Nyla Vanity Light
The fixture is beautiful, but has major quality/ manufacturing issues. The first fixture arrived with the thumbscrews frozen in place so I was unable to install the glass shades. Lumens customer service was excellent and they sent a replacement, but it had the same problem. I was able to make the replacement fixture work with liberal application of penetrating oil, heat gun, and patience, but I shouldn't have to do that. The fixture is engineered for precision, but not built that way. A slight mis-alignment of the holes in the shades with the posts, means that I could not install the thumb screws all the way, leaving threads exposed to rust again. I installed it because I was tired of having no light in the bathroom, but will be looking for a replacement soon. Both fixtures arrived sealed from the factory this way, so it is a manufacturer issue and not a Lumens issue.
