Norway Mirror

The Norway Mirror from Arteriors translates cactus surface texture into three-dimensional iron framing around an oval mirror. Brass welds accent the burnt iron frame, highlighting the textural elements that project from the perimeter. The spiked surface treatment creates dimensional variation around the mirror's edge, where raised details cast shadows and catch light differently throughout the day. This botanical reference transforms plant defense mechanisms into decorative metalwork, where the welding process becomes visible rather than concealed. The piece accommodates both horizontal and vertical mounting through the installation of a back cleat.
