The Nimbus LED Multi-Light Pendant by Shakuff captures its surroundings with the airy effervescence of its cloudlike namesake. The fixture itself is suspended from above by a thin cable that drops to a conical housing for small but strong LED lamping, which is mellowed in turn by a rippling glass diffuser. The shade itself is a clever confection of smoothly blown glass; each one is dimpled by hand and held over a scorching flame to ensure no two are alike, creating the perception of slight movement on a breezy day, even as the fixture remains in one place.
Established in 2007 by Joseph Sidof, Shakúff lighting creates modern handblown light pieces inspired by classic Italian glasswork. Composed of skilled artisans and glassblowers, the brand brings imaginative designs to life for commercial and residential spaces alike.
