An open design made in Italy that harmonizes well with its surroundings, it uses a small, curve-edged canopy to secure a single downward-facing lamp inside a vertically-lined capsule-shaped shade with a small opening set into its base. The shade design eases direct light to the sides, transmuting it into a warm glow that reaches out to all sides, offset by a focused wash of downlight that extends below.
