Nelson Pear Light looks great after it was hung.
The G. Nelson medium pear light looks great hung in a stairwell. We're using it with a 23 watt compact fluorescent bulb (2700K) and it gives a beautiful soft glow. Works well with well with contempory/deco/asian decor.

Beautiful!
My baby's room wouldn't be complete without the Nelson Pear Lamp! It casts a wonderful light in her baby pink room.
Simple yet elegant
We have a Nelson lamp and each of the rooms and they all look lovely. Very simple and modern. Makes a big difference in the look and feel of the room. Only small complaint Ive noticed is that Nelson lamps aren't as bright as some other pendant lamps which have the bulb exposed. But I guess that is to be expected.
Herman Miller
One of the most influential brands in American design, renowned for pioneering iconic mid-century modern furniture and lighting solutions, Herman Miller began its storied history in 1905 as Star Furniture Co. in Zeeland, Michigan. In 1923, businessman Herman Miller lent his name to the company, signaling a new chapter under the visionary leadership of his son-in-law, D.J. De Pree. This marked the beginning of Herman Miller's transformation into kingmakers of mid-century design.
