This is a strikingly beautiful fan, although beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (My wife thinks it looks like an alien spacecraft but doesn't mind it). More importantly: it moves a ton of air and has greatly increased comfort. I got the version without the light. I am very particular about my lighting, and ceiling fans have never provided desirable lighting levels for me. I would also be sad to lose the visual effect of the overlapping fan blades.

I ordered these fans along with the wall controllers made for the fans. All items were showing in stock. The fans arrived on time, but for unknown reasons (which took many calls to sort out), the supplier of the controllers was supposively showing the controllers in stock but changed their delivery date to 4 months in the future. Can't wait that long nor do I want to have to have an electrician visit a second time.

This is my second time ordering this fan and it doesn't disappoint. Works well and is attractive which is hard to find in a ceiling fan. I love that the bottom looks like a fortune cookie.
