The Minka Aire Slope Ceiling Adaptor is designed to meet the needs of buildings and houses with sloped ceilings. The A245 Slope Ceiling Adapter kit is used with 3/4" I.D. Series Downrods and accommodates sloped ceilings up to a 29 degree pitch. The fan's existing canopy is to be used with this adaptor.

The electrical box was oriented 45 degrees off from the plain of the ceiling. Therefore, the locating pin did not index with the mounting bracket. So, the fit of the ball in the socket is kind of funky but it works.
