Miniature Eames LCW

Designed in 1945, the Eames Plywood Lounge is not only emblematic of mid-century modern design but revolutionized the production of modern furniture designs to follow. After years of experimentation, Charles and Ray Eames were able to mold plywood into strong and comfortable forms with relative ease. It is a technique that is employed to this day. The Vitra Miniature Eames LCW (or Lounge Chair Wood) pays tribute to this important contribution.
