The VL45 Radiohus Pale Rose Pendant from Louis Poulsen adds an artistic, retro presence with its elegantly simple design. A spin on the remarkable 1940s design created by Vilhelm Lauritzen, it was originally used and displayed in the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen, also known as the “Radiohuset” in Danish. And so, this piece is both ageless and elegant, using a four-layer shade of pale rose handblown glass to diffuse light while funneling a downlight directly below. Its bold brass canopy and socket contrast well with the rosy, matte aesthetic of the shade, creating a visual appeal that both enjoyable and functional.
