I love the look of this sconce; it's so elegant and simple. I bought six of these for my home and received so many complements on them. However, one of them suddenly stopped working after about 2 months. When I called to complain about this, the customer service rep apologized and said they would send a replacement out as soon as they came back in. The cs rep was SO understanding I wondered if this was a common or already known problem with these sconces. (They were backordered for FOUR months!) When I finally received the replacement, it was very clearly much brighter than the others. Of course this brighter one *would* be the one of the two on the FRONT of my house... >>sigh< < At this point I'm not sure what I want to do. In addition to these sconces, I bought 5 other Sonneman fixtures for the interior of my house which are all fine.

This is such a great manufacturer--I know I can always order their fixtures with confidence: well-made, thoughtfully designed, and wonderful quality. This wall fixture has a nice piece of frosted glass as the backdrop, and the metal is painted white--a nice clean look for a white bathroom where there is already plenty of stainless steel.

Got this outdoor sconce for the front door of new home and every time I saw it at night I would appreciate this beauty:) It's elegant, modern and bright - definitely makes a statement for your house. It's not cheap but I got the open box discount and I like the designs by Sonneman so I think it's quite worth the purchase.
