The Mia Drum Pendant from Seascape Lamps plays with layering in an unexpected way. A handwoven cotton thread shade sits above a linen drum, creating a stepped effect when viewed from below. Each thread in the upper portion is hand-dyed, resulting in a rich texture that filters through to the lower section. A bottom diffuser ensures even light distribution below. This pendant works particularly well above dining tables, in entryways, or anywhere the two-tiered construction can be appreciated from multiple angles. Its adjustable brightness lets you match the output to different activities throughout the day.
