The Mestiza Dining Chair from Mexa Design reimagines the iconic Mexican Equipal chair with a contemporary twist. Designed by Moisés Hernández, it celebrates the cultural fusion of Indigenous and Spanish influences, retaining the original seat's curving silhouette and encompassing comfort. Each chair is handcrafted in Mexico, with a strong powder-coated steel frame set atop a U-shaped base with three braces, complemented by a woven PVC cord seat and back. The single arc of the seat back and arms adds a harmonious touch, supplying swooping sculptural refinement.
