The Merrimack Floor Lamp from Hudson Valley Lighting takes a transitional form and refines it through a considered pairing of materials, with a slender walnut wood stem rising from a flared base to meet a broad, tapered shade. Walnut and natural woven materials define the construction, while metal cuff accents at the base and midpoint add a jewelry-like detail that punctuates the vertical line. A white linen shade crowns the composition, diffusing light softly across the room.
