I was excited about this lamp and looked at hundreds before choosing it thinking the shade was made of glass, but it was actually plastic spray painted with gold and looked like something I could have made myself. For over $300 I was disappointed and returned it, but at a cost of $50 for shipping and handling.

Do not buy this as it is not worth the money. The shade is made of plastic,spray painted with gold paint. I thought it would be glass. It looks so cheap.It is costing me $50 to return it.

This is perfect for any Melt by Tom Dixon fan. It's a great mini-size and when lit creates a stellar ambience. I wouldn't rely on it as a task light, but it definitely creates a great vibe and will complement any space.
