The construction originally springs from bicycle manufacture and plumbing, creating something functional and fabulous, an airy assembly of parallel metal fixtures that sweep back, out, and over. The design secures a softly curved spring-upholstered foam cushion that follows the lines of the metal and adds a natural, organic contrast to the refinement of the metal frame.
