Perfect size and love the handle so it can hang from anywhere, durable material, and looks great with a color changing bulb as well! 10/10 recommend. #sweepstakes

This is my second May Day fixture. The first I purchased in Italy for considerably more money.

I used to have a tall floor lamp in my living room, but had to remove it since my infant and toddler sons kept trying to knock it over. In my search for a replacement light, I wanted something modern and practical, and the May Day light is it! I bought a hook for the wall, hung it up, and voila - makeshift sconce. Much cheaper than having an electrician install something more complicated. Even better, I can wrap the cord up when my kids are playing so there's no chance of them yanking it down.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Very cute, but they don't last

I've had 10 of these hanging up at my business for the past 12 years and have had to replace them all due to the plastic weakening and cracking over time. The plastic cone becomes super brittle and just falls apart. It usually happens when I have to change the bulb.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
