The Matic Sectional Sofa from Knoll is open and adaptable, intended to evoke an an island platform, suspended in space. Designed by Piero Lissoni and made in Italy, slender aluminum legs support an angular platform, elevating a wood frame that is softened by variable-density foam and sheathed in a wool-blend upholstery. While the piece has a straightforward, contemporary feel, its curved armrest ends offer hidden functionality and can be bent to create the perfect nest or easily adjusted to continue a captivating conversation in comfort.
