So Much Potential---Missed
i had saved for months for this 5x5 little number. i viewed it so much more than a rug- it was an artistic expression with its cross shape and dual patterns of weave. when i received it (no returns) i was immediately disappointed. the binding on the carpet is a dusty rose color, the weave on the one side is a strong brown-gray, the other side a yellowed hue cream. i went back to look at the picture on the website and review the notes i had taken with the representative i had talked to before i placed my order. i found that the two did not match up, what i was under the impression i was ordering was not what i received. the rug in the picture looks considerably lighter than the actual rug itself. the very brown rug (on the one side) looks like a light beige in the picture and the other side a creamy white. again, in the picture the binding looks like a beige with just a slight pinking hue. i won't go as far to say it's unattractive but it is nothing i would have picked for my purposeful all white room. i am waiting (and waiting) for it to grow on me. i seriously can not stand the brown and i wither at the pink. (deep sigh).
