The Lorenth Bath Sconce from Minka-Lavery pairs a conical clear glass shade with a wire cage frame that wraps the exterior, adding structural detail to an otherwise pared-back form. A horizontal wire ring runs around the lower third of the glass, dividing the cone visually and giving the fixture a more considered profile than a plain shade alone. The clear glass leaves the filament bulb fully exposed as a deliberate design feature, and because the fixture is certified for moisture-prone environments, it performs just as reliably in a bath setting as anywhere else.

Minka-Lavery

Minka-Lavery was established in 1982 by Bill and Marian Tang as the decorative lighting division of the Minka Group, based out of Corona, CA. The duo's tactic in giving Minka-Lavery light fixtures their sense of luxury was to take inspiration from past design styles whenever possible and re-introduce them in new forms.
