Take the dramatically twisting curves of the blades of the Light Wave LED Ceiling Fan by Minke Aire Fans and add an energy-efficient LED downlight and you'll have the Minka Aire Light Wave Ceiling Fan. An etched lens acrylic shade gives you a soft glow that can be fully dimmed with the included remote. The Light Wave is a great twist on an established design.

Nice Fan
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Purchased to replace existing old fashioned fan and it looks really nice. We are very happy with the style and function of this fan.

Coolest fan ever!
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Made a great choice for this fan. Looks beautiful in our vaulted ceiling in the great room. Lots of compliments from everyone! Electrician had a little trouble installing but when it was re-set, it worked great. The remote control is an added bonus.

gorgeous fan
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was in love with the minka aire artemis fan but it was a budget buster--I was thrilled when I found this fan as a more affordable alternative. We had this installed in our living room a month ago and it's stunning. So graceful and quiet. The light is bright but warm. I don't feel like I sacrificed anything choosing this one over the artemis.

Great looking, quiet but light adjustability is limited.
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I really dislike the look of fans in general, but my boyfriend insisted we needed one in the family room. This MinkaAire Wave Distressed Koa is very attractive and stylish. The 52" provides plenty of air for my taste, but doesn't crank it out, which some people might want (there is a larger, 4-blade style that would do more). The one thing I don't like is that the light is on a continuous switch, so you are only able to hold down the button on the remote as it scales down and when you get to the lowest setting, if you keep holding, it automatically jumps back to the highest setting. Also, the lowest setting is not dim enough for me, especially when I just want evening mood lighting. I am not sure how to change out the LED light, but I'll be looking into it. Still, I won't ever have any way to change the way the switch operates. It's such a good looking fan, that I'd probably choose it again, even with this limitation, unless I could find something similar with a traditional dimmer switch.

Love it and bought another. Very smooth operation, one with 6' downrod and the other with 3'.
