LaFabLight was born from a creative spark between designer Cyrille Maillé and entrepreneur Laurent Rousseau, two visionaries united by a shared belief in thoughtful, sustainable lighting. Founded in 2021, the brand reflects their commitment to “slow design”—a philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, care, and environmental responsibility. Each LaFabLight creation is handcrafted in small series at their workshop in Chartres, France, where wood and cotton thread are transformed into sculptural, lightweight lighting pieces.

LaFabLight fixtures are shaped by both tradition and modernity. They blend clean geometric lines with the delicate art of weaving, a nod to vintage design and the timeless beauty of natural materials. With eco-design at its core, the brand works exclusively with local artisans and cabinetmakers, favoring short circuits, French-sourced wood, and sustainable production practices.
