This lamp is just OK. It's over priced even with the sale price. It's one of those slide to assemble IKEA types of lamps marketed to seem better than a lower priced item. On the highest setting, it's not very bright and it's also not adjustable to be very tall. I kept mine, but my general advice would be to keep looking.

I love this lamp--almost as much as I love my Concept Z-bar. I love the style and the precision of its craftsmanship. The only thing I wish were different is its brightness: the Z-bar (besides being capable of more contortions) is considerably brighter. If only there had been an easy comparison chart so I might have known I was going to have a less bright lamp, I would be giving it a five-of-five.

Nice Quality Light and Sleek Design

I just purchased this light. Delivery was quick. However, the first fixture was defective. No problem, Lumens and Koncept sent a replacement immediately. The light is terrific. The fixture is a bit delicate, but is a beautiful sleek modern design. We like it very much!

Koncept was formed in 2002 in Monterey Park, CA to build on the many years of manufacturing and industrial design experience gained by the founders, the Ng family. Peter Ng brought 30 years of design experience; his sons, Kenneth and Edmund, engineering degrees. The first Koncept lighting fixture was the Z-Bar, released in 2005.
