I ordered this for a client and we're happy with it overall, however, the alabaster is basically white with very faint, diffuse veining. Of course, the look of natural stone will vary, but we would have liked more brown veining as shown in the picture.

I've started using small lamps in place of candles. I'm using this lamp in the corner on my fireplace mantle. It gives off a soft glow. Along with a couple of other small lamps and you have the same atmosphere of candles.
