These are wonderful chairs, beautifully balanced with graceful lines and gorgeous wood grain. They're also perfectly comfortable and sturdy, but not too heavy to carry around easily. They come with plastic feet on the legs so they won't scratch the floor. The seat cover is an easy-to-clean microfiber, but just a plain black -- though it would be easy to detach the seat with a few screws and replace the cover if desired.
Copeland Furniture
In the early '70s, Tim Copeland began making hardwood cider presses in his garage in East Corinth, Vermont. By 1976, cider presses had given way to butcher block and Adirondack furniture, and Copeland's garage became too small. So Copeland Furniture moved into a manufacturing facility in Bradford, Vermont, for the exclusive production of furniture made out of solid natural hardwood.
