Wood: To preserve the beauty of the finish, simply clean the surface of the furniture with a soft damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly. Care over the years to come will not require oil, polishes, or cleaners. Fabric: Clean this fabric with pure solvents (petroleum distillate based products, Energine, Carbona, Renuzit, or similar products may be used) in a well ventilated room. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. CAUTION: Use of water based or detergent based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinking. Water stains may become permanent and unable to be removed with solvent cleaning agents. Avoid products containing Carbon Tetrachloride as it is highly toxic. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

Copeland Furniture

In the early '70s, Tim Copeland began making hardwood cider presses in his garage in East Corinth, Vermont. By 1976, cider presses had given way to butcher block and Adirondack furniture, and Copeland's garage became too small. So Copeland Furniture moved into a manufacturing facility in Bradford, Vermont, for the exclusive production of furniture made out of solid natural hardwood.
