The Tubular LED Linear Suspension from Ingo Maurer features a long, clear glass tube suspended by fine cables at one end and a softly looping textile cord at the other, creating a light, airy line that brightens a wide area below. Designed by Sebastian Hepting in 2020, it arranges tiny LED points inside the unprocessed borosilicate tube, giving the light a delicate, pearl-like glow. The tube rotates freely within its support, allowing illumination to be aimed upward, downward, or toward nearby surfaces. Adaptable and quietly inventive, it brings a welcome clarity to workspaces, counters, and other communal areas.
