Only difficulty was getting the receiver box to fit amidst all the wires. I would think in today's world of miniaturization that the receiver could be smaller and easier to fit in the hanger bracket. Otherwise all went well and pairing with the controller was seamless. Very happy with the fan and overall outcome.

We especially like the magnetic mount for the remote control, i.e. put it in your pocket to take with you to adjust the fan and lights where you can actually see and feel the result immediately or use it like a wall-mounted switch where it's never misplaced.
