Designer Jim Parsons built the chair around soft, continuous curves rather than sharp lines, giving it a friendly presence from any angle. A fully upholstered body wraps down to meet a slim metal base, allowing the chair to swivel freely. The frame is built from plywood, with a foam-filled cushion and fabric upholstery covering the seat, back, and arms.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
