I wouldn't know about the Pedant Lamp because I haven't received it but I will say customer service certainly has been subpar. The website said my light usually ships in 1 to 2 days. I placed the order on the 3rd of the month, on the 10th I received an email that my order had indeed shipped with a tracking number, not the 1 to 2 days as stated but, I was glad it did ship and for the next several days I tried to track the shipment with the incorrect tracking number that was in the email and kept getting error msgs finally I reached out to CS (via chat) and was told they would get back to me with an email stating the status of my shipment within 48 hrs. I never received any such email so several days later I tried again and was told I would receive an email within 48 hrs and again that never happened. On the 21st of the month I finally called and spoke to Molly who finally gave me a correct tracking number but when I looked at the tracking information I saw 3 different exceptions and that my order had never actually left the warehouse. Molly then gave me the phone number for the shipping company (so I could call the company myself to follow up). I was a bit upset so I asked fo speak to a supervisor which eventually I did speak with but she basically told me to sit tight and wait. My advice is if you really love an item at Lumens then order it and wait and hope it shows up and if it doesn't then you can call Lumens and get the shipping company's info and maybe speaker to the warehouse gentleman such as I did and hope he enjoyed the conversation and thinks highly enough of you as to ship your order to you because that's the only way you might receive it...
