The Halligan Lounge Chair from Uttermost settles into a rounded, low back and deep seat cushion, creating relaxed proportions built for lingering. Three angled wood legs support the frame in a tripod-like stance at the front and back, lending it an almost architectural quality set against the softness of the upholstery above. At each side, a boxy wood block bridges the seat and legs, marking the point where the wood meets the fabric. A foam-filled cushion sits beneath the textured, woven upholstery that wraps the seat, back, and arms.

Uttermost

The Uttermost venture started in 1975 when Bob and Belle Cooper opened shop in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, largely as a manufacturer of mirrors. Still family owned, Uttermost has expanded to include many more lighting fixtures in their line and has a branch in Riverside, California as well as a strong working relationship with their employees in Guanxi, China.
