Haiku Monochrome Low Profile Ceiling Fan

We had bought these fans before in our previous home. they are beautiful and high quality with very good customer service.

So I tried very hard to find another fan for our great room that was less expensive. lol After doing lots of research and many a talk with my brother who bought one for his house, I gave in and spent the money on this one. I am thrilled I did! There really is no beating the quality and ease of use. I love the quiet motor and the ability to use it with Alexa. We got the light and it is perfect and adjustable also with Alexa capabilities. I am so happy with it and as the saying goes - you get what you pay for!

Although I love some of the features like when the fan turn on when you enter the room and that you can control the fan and light with Alexa, here are some drawbacks: 1) With motion sensor enabled, the fan turns off after a while even though you are still in the room. 2) When the fan speed is 3 or above, it makes a buffeting sound which is not only very disturbing in itself, even the air that is being moved has that buffeting effect on your face and causes nausea/headache. This is my biggest complaint. I contacted the BAF customer support regarding # 2 above and the gentleman told me that the blades of the fan were designed similar to a helicopter and that is the reason why I am getting that buffeting effect! Totally unhappy with my purchase!
