Key Features
The Global Pendant from Metal Lux is elegant as a single or as a series, presenting a globe silhouette inspired by the Mid-century lighting icons. Designer Studio Tecnico Metallux’s work illustrates fresh, simply composed forms that link to time-tested designs. Mid-century design’s geometric aesthetic shows from the canopy to the shade in this piece. The low-profile disc canopy and the wire suspension fit into the tightest spaces. The canopy also works with the lamp holder to add a dash of elegant color overhead. Rounding out below, an acrylic globe displays the bulb beautifully at the center with a reflective note. Filamented bulbs add to the vintage character of the design while producing a soft pool of ambient downlight.
Metal Lux brings high-end design lighting to residential spaces. Located in Veneto, Italy, Metal Lux uses over 40 years of business and design experience to create cutting-edge products with a variety of styles by designers with a range of artisanal skills. Since 2012, nearly all of the company’s energy needs have been covered by solar panels installed on the production plant.
