Stunning pendants
I bought 3 of these pendants to place over a 13 foot kitchen island. My kitchen features lots of unlacquered brass so I was worried the gold of the pendants might be too flashy, especially the big gold ceiling discs. And while the gold is indeed "goldy," it is not flashy because it's applied like irregular squares of golf leaf and very well done. I was also concerned the light would not be strong enough on the island, since the total lumens is high but not all of the light is directed down -- some light is cast up to the ceiling. But happily I was wrong. The pendants provide excellent illumination of the work surface, casting a wide arc. Another consideration was that my kitchen ceiling is only 8'2 so I needed a pendant that would not consume much volume, yet have a presence.These are perfect.They're elegant, tasteful, and make a statement.
