I bought four of these sconces four years ago. Three are already burned out, and there appears no way to replace the light board. They looked great new, but poor quality workmanship. I'm swithcing to another brand.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Somewhat disappointed

Bought this sconce because it is low profile in projection form the wall and would be viewed primarily from the side. For that purpose, it is very good. The side view is clean and thin. Somewhat disappointed in the materials and construction- it seems a bit lightweight and flimsy. I also made a mistake getting the LED- the light is very cold.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
