A beautiful interpretation of natural materials, the Foscarini Kurage Table Lamp—inspired and named after the Japanese name for jellyfish—is a completely handcrafted source of ambient light. The crown is composed of Japanese washi paper, a fibrous material sourced from mulberry trees that is purposely formed without perfect symmetry, balancing delicately on the four wooden pegs. Every detail is crafted to form a harmonious object, even the cord, which is wrapped with a paper fiber to match the natural wood base.
