I bought this as a backsplash task light for an outdoor bar area, love the warm crisp light it gives off. Was definitely a perfect flush mount solution by providing a brighter light source to be turned on when needed as well as off when not.

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
