Flotilla Linear Suspension

The Flotilla Linear Suspension from Blueprint Lighting honors the abstract designs of textile designer Lucienne Day with a fleet-like composition of colorful, adjustable shades. This callback to the 1952 “Flotilla” fabric represents Blueprint Lighting’s Kelly Aaron’s deep adoration for the influential British textile designer. Creating the unexpected, Aaron sought to imagine two-dimensional fabrics as three-dimensional forms. She does so with pairs of cone shades in various tones. These shades feature a joint that allows them to pivot individually. Together, the shades direct beams of clean, cohesive light.
