FLOS

Visionary designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, along with Tobia Scarpa, founded FLOS in 1962 in Merano, Italy aiming to revolutionize the way people experience light. Headquartered today in Bovezzo, Italy, FLOS embodies the spirit of modern Italian design, combining groundbreaking experimentation with artistic innovation—famously exemplified by their iconic cocoon lighting fixtures made by spraying resin onto steel frames.

Legacy of Collaboration

With a legacy rooted in collaboration, the brand has worked closely with internationally renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck, and Paolo Rizzatto. Notable pieces, including the iconic Arco Floor Lamp (featured in films like Diamonds Are Forever) and the distinctive Taccia Table Lamp, blur the lines between functional lighting and contemporary art.

Why We Love FLOS

For their commitment to pushing creative boundaries, delivering exceptional quality, and crafting luminous designs that transform spaces with elegance, warmth, and unmistakable style.
