Comments about Type 75 Floor Lamp
This is the 4th Anglepoise we have bought from Lumens--2 desk and 2 floor lamps. They work wonderfully for reading no matter where we sit and for close up needlework and other close-up projects. I highly recommend them and Lumens for their excellent service..
Product good, shipping not so much

Product is great. Shipping was late and a mess with inaccurate information online and changing stories from Lumens #sweepstakes

Excellent Quality and Design

I purchased the Angelpoise Type 75 Floor Lamp in Alpine White. I am also an owner of the Type 75 Task Lamp in White. The "Alpine White" of the Floor Lamp and "White" of the Task Lamp are indistinguishable from one another. The Floor Lamp also comes with the Task Lamp base so should you wish to convert the Floor Lamp into a Task Lamp at a later date, this is possible. The base of the Floor Lamp is made from heavy iron while the spring-loaded arm and shade are made from aluminum. While light in weight, the arm and shade are sufficiently sturdy. The shade also has a full 360-degree range of swivel--limited only by the power cord twisting. Though the tilt of the shade is limited by the arm, it is sufficient for the purposes I seek. The on/off switch is hidden nicely as a push-button on the narrow end of the shade, making it accessible but not obtrusive. Overall, the Type 75 Floor Lamp is a timeless, classic design that can fit well with most modern decors and it is priced relatively affordably.
Perfect !

This floor lamp is great and very well priced. It's nice looking and functional. I love the brushed aluminum finish.
Amazing!!!!

Fits my quirky apartment very well and provides the light I was missing in a dark corner. For the price it is well worth it... It comes with the base to turn it into the table lamp if you so desire at a future date. Basically two lamps for the price of one.
Anglepoise
Anglepoise started in 1899 by Herbert Terry and sons. They originally sold products that used their springs, like toasters, bike seats and spring clips. It wasn't until 1931 when George Carwardine established a theory for using balanced weights with these springs that Anglepoise introduced lighting to the company.
