A 1935 design by Paavo Tynell, otherwise known as “the man who illuminated Finland” with modern lighting design, it starts with a metal disc base that sends up a rattan-covered stem to lamping beneath a shade shaped like a conical Asian hat. This simple design brings a lively presence to its surroundings, screening glare from the sides while casting a wide wash of light below it.

The lamp looks great and fits well with the furnishings in the room. The lamp arrived on time as ordered, but the box was bashed in a bit from the shipping, and the shade had a small amount of damage which I fixed. One item of concern-the needs two bulbs which was not mentioned online. I foolishly ordered a bulb from your partner, bulbrite, but it took about 10 days to get it, and it was totally overpriced.I was able to buy three additional bulbs for what I payed your partner. You should get rid of them.
