These are really hard to actually turn on and off. We replaced our nightstand lamps with them and like the colors but the shades are excessively wide at the bottom and the dials to turn the lamps on and off are extremely hard to turn. These would be fine on display where they didn't actually have to be used but they are not great at all for usage.
