Make a stylish addition to café spaces, tall side tables, or breakfast bars alike with the upward-reaching and open design of the Fat Barstool from Tom Dixon. A well-upholstered construction braced by four tall metal legs, it places a plushly-padded seat and curving, padded back done in molded foam, and surfaced in soft woolen fabric. Excellent as a paired arrangement, this contrasts elegantly with the glossy metal surfaces below it, adding visual engagement to physical comfort.

Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon was founded in 2002 with a lofty goal: to revive the British furniture industry. Even as it was founded, the company already had a sort of rebellious, inventive reputation based on the preceding career of the man himself. Dixon, a self-taught designer and welder first burst onto the scene in 1987 with his S-chair for Cappellini.
