This table lamp by Blomus is the perfect lamp for dinner tables. Its slender stem and base takes little room on the table and its height ensure enough illumination. It has 3 levels to set the ambiance of your choice. I purchased 2 lamps 18 months ago and recently added 2 from Lumens. Sadly, 1 of my original lamps will no longer take a charge. Given the price, I dare say its lifespan was inadequate. I will watch how my others fare before replacing it. I hope it's an anomaly…they are so lovely. My recommendation would always come with a caveat.

I use 5 different brands of battery operated lights and this fixture by far stays lit the longest. Some, at even higher cost, only last 4 to 5 hours before needing a new charge. Touch the top of light, you can get 3 levels of brightness. I find the most dim to be just perfect for creating inviting appeal on tables at night, and the brightest setting to be great for bedside reading when you don't want the entire room lit. Note that the light shines from the bottom and top only, no light passes thru the metal shade, and I measure my 2 of these at 14 inches tall, so a bit taller than mentioned in specs. It is a sturdy light, and fun to move around to different places, both inside and outside. Makes a great gift, too.

I needed something to put on a side table that has no outlet nearby so I can read at night. This light is so perfect I am going to buy another one. It offers 3 settings all with plenty of light.

Though I love this lamp and it will get lots of use in my screened porch this year, I was surprised by the size. I expected it to be slightly larger. My bad, as I did not check dimensions ahead, but it is slightly diminutive for a table lamp. Beautifully designed and works very well, otherwise.
