Loved the design - clean, modern, simple... bought two and installed adjacent to a couple of different doors. Looked fantastic for a few months until they both turned yellow under UV exposure.... to the point that they became GREEN! Wish I'd known before purchasing.

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
