My husband didn't have any issues with the installation and had it up in less then an hour. Perfectly adds elegance to any room.

kichler.com/The light itself is lovely, and adds so much to our entryway. The directions that came with it were terrible, so I went online to see if perhaps they had updated them. They had -- and they were TOTALLY different -- but just as bad. Fingers crossed that we did it correctly!

kichler.com/The stem portion of the fixture that sits inside the glass is plastic/rubber and does not lay straight, so both of our island pendants have looked crooked since they were installed by our builder. We have tried without success to get them to straighten out. Why this section is not a metal tube I have no idea. There are also many small imperfections in the glass. Ordered these without seeing them in person. Disappointed.
Simple but doesn't hang straight
The light is simple in design but it doesn't hang straight. Not sure if it how we assembled it or if the parts are askew. If it hung straight I'd give it a solid 4.8.
