Great dimming feature

Nice look, beautiful base, plastic columns are a bit cheap, a better quality would showcase the floor lamps better.
Love the Look of This Lamp

This is a fun and interesting lamp. Its narrow aspect allows for great flexibility in its placement in our home. The foot switch is just fine with me, but I prefer a step-on switch for on and off, so that one can leave the dimmer alone to access the same setting simply by pressing the on/off switch. A fairly minor thing, though. We're happy with our purchase.
Stone Bases Not Ready for Prime Time
Verified Buyer
We bought six Elise Floor Lamps. Two have aluminum bases and they are fine. Four have stone bases and are the tallest (80") fixtures. Evidently, the stone bases are a recent addition to Pablo Designs' portfolio. Bad News: Let's just say that Pablo is still working out the kinks. To properly hold the very long polycarbonate tubes in the stone bases (where there is no mechanical connection, merely a press/wedge fit into a shallow, 1"-deep recess), very precise tolerances are required. Well, that's not what they shipped. The tubes are so loose that they cannot be held securely in place. They are sending us plastic bumpers to retrofit the fixtures in an attempt to secure the long polycarbonate tubes. Even after the tubes are secured, these (80"-tall, stone-base) products would be inadvisable in a home with pets or children, but the shorter units in aluminum bases may be OK. Good News: Lumens (particularly Tess) has been great. The light fixtures (although very wobbly) are beautiful and provide very nice illumination. If we can manage to secure the loose tubes, we will have some very nice additions to our home.
Just What I Needed
Verified Buyer
The Elise Lamp is a great addition to my decor. I needed this for a spot where I used to have a cool totem lamp that after 20 years was a bit tired and frankly had electrical issues. As an interim solution, I replaced it with a cheap Ikea item a year ago until I could find exactly what was needed, and this was it! Ambient or functional lighting - it fits both.
Just right for lighting tight spaces.

Needed a lamp to fit in a small space yet be able to light a large area, this worked perfectly.
