Key Features

Made in China
The Edge Chandelier from George Kovacs refashions linear lighting with its inventive arrangement of vertical light bars. Etched acrylic diffusers turn LED light into an even glow along each bar's length. The cylindrical central hub coordinates these illuminated pieces into a balanced configuration that distributes light effectively throughout the space. Each bar functions as both a structural element and a light source, creating practical brightness through architectural expression. The luminaire’s minimal suspension system keeps the focus on its geometric arrangement, while the aluminum construction provides resilience.

George Kovacs

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
