The most recognizable piece of Mid Century Furniture is now released in this luxurious new fabric, Mohair Supreme. The Eames® Lounge Chair and Ottoman by Herman Miller made its debut to the modern furniture world in the 1950’s and remains one of the most well-recognized lounge chairs after 60 plus years. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, this legendary piece features a 7-ply veneer shell and cushions which are individually upholstered and replaceable. Eames’ back braces and bases of both the chair and ottoman are crafted from die-cast aluminum while its chair base has a swivel mechanism. Shock mounts made of natural rubber and adjustable stainless steel glides add to its high level of functionality. Mohair Supreme, a fabric that has a soft warmth and easygoing charm, gives Eames a short, velvety pile that adds to its already existing comfort.
